Jo Husebye
Partner & Head of Energy Systems Research
Jo Husebye is a Partner and Head of Energy Systems at Rystad Energy. Jo joined Rystad Energy in 2011 and works with strategy advisory for the energy industry. He is also heading up Energy Systems Research, including energy scenarios, emissions, policies & carbon markets
Jo has a broad energy profile, from advisory on emerging energy technologies to development of global energy scenarios. He has led several strategy projects for energy producers, service companies, energy intensive industries, governments, and financials.
Jo is a regular speaker at energy conferences and industry events. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing and climbing with friends and family.
Jo holds an MSc degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from Norwegian University of Science & Technology, with specialization in industrial ecology and investments under uncertainty. Prior to joining Rystad Energy, Jo worked as a research scientist at SINTEF Energy Research focused on techno-economic optimization of gas value chains, including CCS.
