Jon Fredrik Müller

Jon Fredrik Müller joined Rystad Energy in 2010. He leads the firm’s global Consulting business and is based in Oslo, Norway. Prior to this, Jon Fredrik was Head of Consulting for Asia-Pacific, and responsible for building our Asian consulting business out of Singapore. He was also part of starting up our Houston office back in 2013.  Jon Fredrik’s project expertise spans corporate strategy, transaction support and business development.

Deeply committed to global energy markets, Jon Fredrik’s client portfolio covers energy producers, supply chain companies and investors. He holds a good understanding of the full energy value chain with specialty in energy transition, hydrogen, E&P and offshore oil field services. Jon Fredrik is also our most seasoned advisor on IPOs for both energy producers and service companies.

Over the last decade Jon Fredrik has been a key speaker at more than 80 conferences around the world. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, cross country skiing and music together with his wife and two children.

Prior to joining Rystad Energy, Jon Fredrik worked in the Management Consulting department at Accenture, focusing primarily on energy and public sector. He holds a MSC in Industrial Economics and Technology Management  from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), with a finance specialisation from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, as part of his degree.
