Specializing in advising clients on strategies for future growth and performance improvement, Lars leverages his extensive industry expertise across both upstream and downstream energy sectors to guide them through the evolving energy landscape.
Known for his focus on data-driven approaches to addressing key strategic questions, he employs deep analysis and advanced modelling to define roadmaps for E&P, oil service, and shipping companies. Lars brings experience from various international markets having served a diverse range of clients across Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Lars first joined Rystad Energy in 2016 and later returned in 2023 after a successful tenure at Cognite, where he gained valuable experience in industrial software markets and digital transformations within asset-heavy industries. At Cognite, Lars played a crucial role in defining and leading digital transformation programs for E&P and clean-tech companies. He holds a MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Outside of work, he enjoys running, skiing and long sauna sessions with friends and family.
