Lars Lysdahl
Head of Transportation Advisory
Lars has been with Rystad Energy since 2012 and is now leading the consulting efforts within batteries, solar PV and sustainable fuels in the company. Prior to this, Lars was head of our New York consulting practice during 2017-2018, responsible for new business development in the US and South America.
At Rystad Energy Lars has broad experience with studies spanning due diligence, market assessment and business strategy. Lars loves analysing the mega trends we are seeing within solar PV, batteries, electric vehicles and clean fuels. Because if this, Lars has been a speaker and panelist at several conferences in Norway, UK, US, Germany and Brazil.
Outside of work, Lars enjoys skiing and running when not playing with his three children.
Prior to joining Rystad Energy, Lars worked within procurement and contractor follow-up onshore and offshore Equinor. He also spent five years in Aker Solutions, working with everything from engineering, offshore operations, tendering and new business development in Oslo and Houston. Lars holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Technology from NTNU University, Norway.
